NGSS TARGET STANDARDS:
Today we will be working on the "Build the Atom" CER as a whole class. We will look at what it should look like and build one together as a class. This will help you next week as you self evaluate your other three and rewrite them for credit.
Today you will get your time to finish your poster. If you finish I would like you to complete the Forms Assessment and revise your Satellite Models with Purple ink.
Today I will go over why I teach the way that I do. We did go over this at the beginning of the year but sometimes a refresher is needed to help motivate us to the end of the year.
From there we should have some time to retake the forms assessment from last Friday and then with our partners we will use purple ink to revise our models for our Satellite Crashing Problem.
We will continue with Mrs. LaBate's visits, move into today's lecture, and then you can work on your posters from Tuesday
PERIOD 1 AND 4
Today we will talk about why I teach the way I do. I know I did this at the beginning of the year but I want to really explain why. So I have prepared a lecture for you and I will give you many reasons.
If there is time afterward we will do our Formative Assessment as a check in.
You will need to scroll down to yesterday's post and Monday's post for your directions and information.
Each table group will look at posts from yesterday for all class periods. Each of the 7 whiteboards have data from each class. As a group look at what others have said and decide what you think would be the best answer for each question set. The pictures are posted on yesterdays post, scroll down to look at them and discuss them.
Be prepared to share your decisions
Today we will need to update our table of content to put in your notes from Friday. You will need to tape them to page 135. From there we will begin our whiteboard round robin discussions. You will need to be sure your notebook is ready prior to the conversations.
