This entire unit we've been talking about satellites falling, we've looked at the paper models, we've learned the differences between how things move around on Earth and compared it to space. We learned why things behave the way they do in those two different areas. But we still haven't figured out how to solve the problem.
Plan A: Satellite "A" is falling out of orbit. Your goal is to put it back into it's original orbit before it crashes into Satellite "B". We don't want to loose this valuable Satellite.
Plan B: Satellite "A" failed to go back into orbit and it will crash with Satellite B. Your goal is to minimize the damage that Satellite A will inflict on itself as well as Satellite B. We want to save both Satellites.
- Using the resources you have collected since March you will start coming up with ideas for either Plan A or Plan B (depending on what group you are in)
- Once your group has an idea come and tell me so I can document it and no other group can use it
- Start making some sketches and explain how your idea would work and be the best option
