Today we watched the Powers of 10 videos and tried to fathom what it was actually saying and these great distances and small distances we were witnessing. From there we went back to our notes on scientific notation. Below you can watch both videos and take both notes. We haven't have a quiz in a while so if you chose not to take notes in class the last few days do not wait too long before you get your notebook ALL caught up.
As promised here are yesterday/today's lecture notes. See previous post for data table and for learning targets.
Today we watched InSight land on Mars, even though it occurred yesterday. Some of the video helped us to answer one of our 4 main questions for this unit, or at least give us insight as to what makes a planet habitable.
From there we updated our table of contents, and learned about the three key pieces of evidence to support Big Bang, and finally updated our models in BLUE ink.
TABLE OF CONTENTS AND UPDATED NOTEBOOK
Today we are going to complete the Big Bang worksheets found on Skooler. There are four in total and you will want to use your timeline to create them. If you fear you missed some content there is a video below based off your interactive assignment. Feel free to look through it and see if there is any content you need to help guide you through the worksheets.
Here are two videos that may be helpful.
