Today we discussed everything from Atomic Structure, Bohr, Electron Configuration, Ions, Electronegativity, Ionization Energy, and even Atomic Radii. Here are the notes below.
Today we will be practicing the Bohr model and drawing the first 20 elements. We will do it individually at first and then as a whole class.
Today you will turn in your optional test corrections assignment. You will also need to turn in your notebook for a lab report grade from last week.
Today we will go back to the periodic table. It has been a while since we thought about the cards and the patterns that we created when we tried to build the table. Today we will talk about some of the methods we used to organize the elements and how the structure of the atom helps to determine these patterns and trends.
Today we will be working independently on our own lab reports from last class period's States of Matter Lab. Remember Test Corrections are due on Monday. For pages 3 and 4 you just need to correct your answers and explain why it's correct. Pages 1 and 2 you must follow the format given exactly or no credit will be given for any questions.
